Vent Normalization - What Tuffgut Does
I have vent normalization (so I hear everyone at a constant volume). Here is what I did (after studying posts the web): I went to setup, enabled direct sound, selected SFX button, selected compressor and clicked add, compressor properties, then set gain = 15, attack = 0.01, release = 500, threshold = -30, ratio = 100, and pre delay = 4.0.
If you plan to try this, please don't forget to first write down your current settings, just in case this doesn't work for you. Then you can restore your settings to the way they are now.
Hope this helps,
Martin/Tuffgut
